This morning I was thinking about how much I wish there was a full FOSS (or even proprietary but self-hosted) replacement for Evernote. I’m mostly happy with my current note-taking setup, but nothing has yet fully replicated the “everything app” nature of Evernote for me (notes, important emails, web clippings, pdfs, etc)…

About a week ago, I set up a new RSS feed in my feed reader, which is tied to a GitLab-based project I want to keep up to date on. So now, instead of via email, I can comfortably skim through release notes for the product in the same way I catch up on news, blogs, etc. 🎉

Turns out I accidentally switched to the upstream version of my theme instead of my fork with custom tweaks a week ago. 🤦‍♂️ Fixed now!

Getting Things Done by David Allen has been one such book, and it looks like Team by David Allen & Edward Lamont will be another!
