Holy Week, 2026! 🌥️

Goal Progress

  • Books: 2/18 📚
  • Photos digitized: 15/500 🖼️

Work

  • I was only in-office one day this week (Monday). Otherwise, remote meetings were the norm as I visited family for Easter!
  • Wednesday - Friday were choc full of meetings, which is abnormal around holidays. However, everyone was finally back from vacations, traveling, etc, and so there was a lot to discuss.

Personal

  • Monday was the first time mowing this season… seems a bit early, but the grass definitely needed trimming.
  • Tuesday-Sunday I was in Ohio for Easter with family.
  • We ended up having Maundy Thursday services without power… made for an interesting experience!
  • Good Friday was a Tenebrae service. For those unfamiliar, I strongly recommend a) reading about the practice, and b) visiting one at some point. It’s hard to do justice in my own words.
  • Saturday we held a Mario Kart bracket/tournament with some family friends after coloring eggs for Easter. I… got 4th. 😬

Notable

  • I decided to see how far I could push “vibe coding” this week (mostly to understand exactly what is possible), and started “building” my own weather app. So far it’s pretty basic, but I’m trying to combine what I like from both forecasting and radar apps.
  • After hearing glowing reviews from the likes of ATP, I purchased and installed YoLink sensors in my house before traveling for remote monitoring. So far, I’m impressed by their function/ease of use!
